Remote working,….Working from home …Flexible working.
Like most millennial’s this was my dream a few years ago, being able to set the alarm about a minute before I started working, being in charge of my own schedule and just generally being the captain of my own ship sounded like an amazing Idea.
The truth, as always, was a little bit disappointing.
Any type of remote working can be tough, with productivity focus and even loneliness all creeping into the mix.
When I first started working remotely I wished that there was a dedicated site to help with this, hence me setting up Remote Working Warriors to help with every aspect of working flexibly.
Who Am I
So for anyone questioning who the gentleman with the questionable beard is at the top of this post it’s me, Fehed Nicass.
I’ve been working remotely for about 3 years now and this has recently changed from a few days per week to a full time commitment. My background specifically is in sales, having done almost every role under the sun within the sector.
As you can imagine, making sales calls with noisy neighbours can be difficult, so I wanted to share the best practices I’ve learned to help you get the most when you’re working remotely.
Hopefully we can learn from each other, share best practices and even start a nice little community of remote workers together.
Looking forward to being on this journey with you guys together!
Fehed.
P.S
Working from home can be difficult enough at the best of times. If you are interested in the items I think every remote worker needs, you can check out my resource page here. All the stuff on there helped me out a hell of a lot and I’m sure it will do the same for you!
