Whilst this might seem like it’s sporadic at first it really can get in the way of getting your jpb done. Heck I know that in my past few years of remote working bad wifi has probably cost me at least a day or two in actual working done.

What to look out for in a router?
So hopefully I’ve convinced you as to why I recommend the TP-link booster. Now if you do decide to go your own way there are still a few things you should look out for when buying a wifi booster for your home office:
- Support: this is just a good rule for anything even remotely tech focused, even the most tech savvy of us get things wrong some times so having someone to speak to on the other end of a phone can make the world of difference when you sare trying to set up a booster
- A brand name; whilst not everything you need to buy has to come from a well known brand in the case of wifi booster this is definitely the case with white label brands typically using cheaper parts and selling on mass for a low price – not the best options when it comes to setting up a solid wifi connection
- Up to date performance: a few years ago HD was all the rage now everyone is talking about 4k. Making sure your booster can handle the increased demands being placed upon them by modern internet is super important. You want to get a booster that will future proof you for as long as possible
- Make sure it supports your devices: so this is a bit of a funny one but not all wifi boosters will connect to your devices if they are not on the manufacturers list. Finding a wifi booster that has no issues in connecting, irregardless of device then is super important.
