One of the pleasures you have to experience when working from home is the terrible wifi and internet issues you might have.

Whilst this might seem like it’s sporadic at first it really can get in the way of getting your  jpb done. Heck I know that in my past few years of remote working bad wifi has probably cost me at least a day or two in actual working done.

The good news however is there is a simple fix … Wifi boosters.

My recommendation then for a wifi booster that works for any house regardless of size and doesn’t break the bank has to be the TP Link ACT 2600 adaptor which you can get here.

Why do I recommend the TP-link wifi booster?

Good question. So one of the reasons I set this blog up  was to make sure I was recommending items that I’ve actually used and would recommend. So let me explain why I feel the TP link is the best on the market this year.

2 year warranty technical support

Wifi can be temperamental even at the best of times and unless you’re a whizz( if people still say that word) when it comes to tech you might send a lot of time on the internet trying to troubleshoot your wifi booster.

This isn’t the case when it comes to the TP which comes with 24/7 technical support and a full 2 year warranty.

It lets you know where the best place to put it is.

A feature that I haven;t seen on too many other wifi boosters is that the TP booster actually tells you where the ideal placement for it will be and give you a colour warning if you’ve put it in the wrong place.

This is going to save you a lot of time spend faffing around looking for a good place to put your booster

Easy to set up

Another  issue a lot of boosters have is once you get them in your home they can be super tricky to set up or they don;t want to connect to your booster.

Not the case with the TP which managed to connect to my router no problem which is placed downstairs to my office on the second floor.

On top of that it only takes about 10 mins in total to set everything up meaning you can pretty much use it right out the box

A brand you can trust

TP-link is one of the largest manufacturers in the world of wifi goods with over 150,000  products shipped on a daily basis meaning you can rest assured knowing you won’t have any issues from cheaper knock off versions you might find.

Huge coverage

Lets face it, the reason you are buying this is because you want more coverage then your getting in your house

The TP-link comes with 4 antennas meaning even if you’re sitting in your backyard you can still have coverage. On top of this it can also help improve your existing wifi performance leading to a better performance even in the areas of your house that had previously good coverage.

What to look out for in a router?

So hopefully I’ve convinced you as to why I recommend the TP-link booster. Now if you do decide to go your own way there are still a few things you should look out for when buying a wifi booster for your home office:

  1. Support: this is just a good rule for anything even remotely tech focused, even the most tech savvy of us get things wrong some times so having someone to speak to on the other end of a phone can make  the world of difference when you sare trying to set up a booster
  2. A brand name; whilst not everything you need to buy has to come from a well known brand in the case of wifi booster this is definitely the case with  white label brands typically using cheaper parts and selling on mass for a low price – not the best options when it comes to setting up a  solid wifi connection
  3. Up to date performance: a few years ago HD was all the  rage now everyone is talking about 4k. Making sure your booster can handle the increased demands being placed upon them by  modern internet is super important. You want to get a booster that will future proof you for as   long as possible
  4. Make sure it supports your devices: so this is a bit of a funny one but not all wifi boosters will connect to your devices if they are not on the manufacturers list. Finding a wifi booster that has no issues in  connecting, irregardless of device then is super important.

So there you have it, hopefully you understand the benefits of the TP-link. So if you’re interested simply hit add to cart today and let me know your thoughts!
